The first week is spent in training, covering
financial products, the Barclays Capital

Bloomberg before joining the desk. Interns
are expected to work on a range of projects,
from live transactions and marketing
projects, to research and analysis, depending
on the business area. Informal training
continues throughout the programme in a
weekly speaker series, providing a broader
knowledge of the firm and the activities of
individual businesses.
