opportunity to transfer to one of our 37 global
offices, pursue an MBA, go on an externship,

Your professional development
Throughout your career at Bain we offer
excellent training with a full month in your
first year, including two weeks with the other
Associate Consultants from our global
offices in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Further
training takes place in the form of continuous
coaching, both informal and formal, from
senior case team members and peer group
sessions to ensure that you continually
develop your skills.
Meritocracy at Bain means that there is no
fixed career path, or length of time that a
person should stay at a particular level.
At Bain your rate of progression is driven by
your performance, not by your tenure.
Sponsorship is available to the top business
schools, but there is no requirement to study
for an MBA, and many people have been
promoted through to Partner without
attending business school.
