Insight - Our Management Trainee
Programme
The Wates Group is committed to providing
entry level opportunities for undergraduates
and graduates looking to embark on exciting
and challenging careers in construction.
Our two core programmes are Commercial
(Quantity Surveying) and Production
(Construction Management), although we
also have openings in other areas.
The Insight programme is a 2 year structured
training scheme designed to accelerate your
career to a management role, combining on
the job experience, responsibility from day
one, support with part time academic and
professional qualifications and structured
business and interpersonal development
modules. We invest everything we can in you
to enable you to succeed.
What are we looking for?
At this stage we are not looking for technical
aptitude - the work that we do demands
first class leadership, management and
interpersonal skills and this is what we look
for in our successful candidates.
We encourage applications from all degree
disciplines as we recognise the value of
diversity. We also recruit undergraduates
wishing to study a degree on a part time day
release basis, and offer full sponsorship.
