Domestic & General provides warranty
services for UK and international clients and
comprehensive product protection for more
than nine million customers.
For over sixty years we've been looking after
people when things go wrong. Our primary
focus is on providing product protection for
major domestic appliances and consumer
electronic products. Together with our
manufacturing, retail and financial services
clients, we provide warranty services for
over 150 major UK and international brands.
We manage the whole warranty process,
including customer mailing, contact centres,
repair networks, in-house administration and
claims handling.
Our international arm is expanding, and
we operate across a number of different
international markets, most notably in
Australia, Germany, Spain and France.

About the programme
We believe that investing in graduates is
essential to our success, and for the fourteenth
year we are looking to recruit a number
of dynamic graduates to join our training
schemes.
This year, we'll be looking for a number
of graduates to move straight into some of
our key departments, including Marketing,
Finance and IT. But, if you're not sure yet
where you see your future, or want to learn
more about our business before you make a
decision, we also have a Management Trainee
programme which will give you the chance to
spend time in different parts of the business
before you move into a longer-term role. The
programme will be designed specifically for
you, to make sure you build a broad range of
knowledge and skills before taking on more
senior positions.

Manager, and Head of Customer Services
all joined on our graduate scheme. When
we recruit graduates, we're looking to build
tomorrow's senior management team.
What we're looking for
We want business-conscious graduates who
have or expect to get a 2:1. In some specific
departments, we're looking for a directly
relevant degree – for example for Financebased
roles we look for a numeracy-based

flexible, positive and enthusiastic, with a
willingness to adapt to different situations
and tasks. Our graduates contribute to the
business from the start, so you'll need to
have the confidence to deal with real business
challenges. To be successful, you'll be able to
work with a wide variety of people, motivate
yourself and others and deliver against your
targets.
