Sales & Marketing and HR Graduate Programmes

We are the world leader in our marketplace. We help millions of people to celebrate, every day, everywhere. We are local. And we are global. We are Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Captain Morgan, Baileys, J&B, José Cuervo, Tanqueray and Guinness. We are 23,000 people working across 180 markets. We work to the highest standards of responsible marketing and corporate governance. And we can confidently say that when it comes to being socially responsible, our sustainable initiatives are world-leading.

Our Graduate opportunities are equally impressive.

Our 3 year Sales & Marketing programme offers the kind of real role responsibility that enables you to gain invaluable hands on experience. This is further enhanced by its rotational nature, designed to give you real depth of insight across the business, access to an exceptional training curriculum and the kind of comprehensive mentoring that enables steady career progression.

Across each year long rotation, you'll assume a specific role which will see you working with our Field Sales Team, or working directly with customers as a Business Development Executive in Customer Marketing, designing strategies to strengthen a category in your customers' environment. You'll also spend time in Consumer Marketing, contributing to branding and advertising campaigns on behalf of some of our most iconic brands, including Guinness, Smirnoff and Baileys.

Our 3 year HR programme is designed to challenge and stretch you from day one and offers you the kind of real role responsibility that enables you to gain invaluable hands-on experience. This is further enhanced by its rotational nature, designed to give you real depth of insight across the business, access to an exceptional training curriculum and the kind of comprehensive mentoring that enables steady career progression.

Across each year long rotation, you'll gain a complete understanding of change management, partnering the business, learning and development and the employee lifecycle. You'll also learn how we hire, induct, move and manage people through hands-on experience, whilst benefiting from on-going, locally delivered training and centrally co-ordinated workshops

A Diageo Corporate induction in London will get you off to a confident start with all of your peers. From the beginning, you'll be supported by a ‘Buddy' and advised and guided by a Senior Mentor. And each year, you'll be invited to a European city to connect, develop and learn by spending time with the most senior people in Diageo. All our graduate programmes are truly European and as we offer opportunities to rotate to different markets, you should be open to global travel and ideally have a second language. As you're learning, you'll be earning a competitive salary, enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and a healthy work/life balance.

There are just a few things you'll need to have: drive, passion and energy; a 2:1 degree, 300 UCAS points or equivalent; and a full, valid driving licence is essential for the sales & marketing programme. For more information and to apply, please visit:
