Structure: As a full service law firm, we have
specialists in all areas of business law. Our
departments are run on a pan-European basis
and we have key seats available in Corporate/
Tax Strategies, Commercial Dispute
Resolution and Property. We also have seats
available in Commercial & IP, Media/IT,
Pensions, Sports, Banking, Construction,
Employment and EU Law.
The firm has a distinctive business sector
approach and operates a single partnership
across Europe. Whilst undertaking 6 four
month seats, trainees are provided with good
quality work on both local and international
transactions.
There are opportunities for seats at our
European offices and on client secondment.
Who should apply
We welcome applications from all degree
disciplines for both vacation work and
training contracts. We require a minimum
upper second class degree or equivalent and
the equivalent of 300 UCAS points.
Training Contract
Our training contract is unique as in
addition to ensuring variety and broad based
experience, we are able to offer a contract
which is tailored to an individual's needs. We
also offer two-tier supervision.
We have 40 training contracts available
starting in 2011 and following graduation,
successful applicants are sponsored through
law school (fees and maintenance grant
paid).

Salaries and benefits
Our trainees start on £25,000 (London
-£35,000) in their first year and £27,000
(London - £38,000) in their second year.
There is a flexible benefits package also
available. Maintenance grant also provided.

Our bespoke training programme is critical to
the long term success of our business.
Trainees benefit from an excellent support
network and receive as much client contact as
possible from day one. Contact includes face
to face meetings and involvement at marketing
events. Trainees also have an opportunity to
network with young professionals locally
through the Trainee Solicitor Group.

calendar no matter which office you are
based. Our team culture also means we view
it important to get our people together on a
regular basis. Trainee specific get-togethers
are organised as well as social events

Summer Vacation Scheme
We have 64 vacancies available in 2009
Students have an opportunity to experience
a week's work experience in two different
departments. You will be invited to attend
client related meetings and social events
whilst on the scheme. It will provide a real
insight into trainee life.
