Introduction:

Bloomberg is about information: accessing it, reporting it, analyzing it and distributing it, faster and more accurately than anyone else. Our ever-expanding array of electronic trading, data, news, publishing, TV and radio broadcast services create transparency and deliver innovation that allow businesses and professionals to transform knowledge into success.

In 1981, Mike Bloomberg and four partners combined their experience on Wall Street with expertise in engineering, data analysis and computer programming to create the first product where people without specialized training could hit a key and get answers to financial questions. The BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL® service is the fastestgrowing real-time financial information network in the world. This interactive financial news, data and analytical network is the dominant choice for banks, brokerages, fund managers, lawyers and governments worldwide.

Do you have what it takes to work at Bloomberg?

Bloomberg is fast paced, high energy and entrepreneurial. We work hard. We value fresh thinking and initiative. We don't have titles. Or offices. We work shoulder to shoulder in a vibrant, open office environment that encourages interaction, communication, collaboration and teamwork. Glass meeting rooms are a visual reminder that our business is rooted in transparency. Twenty-four hour food courts, giant tropical fish tanks and world-class art installations provide additional flourishes to a workplace that is as dynamic and exciting as the financial markets themselves.

Our 10,000 employees share uncommon intellectual curiosity, drive and commitment to excellence. We work in more than 135 offices around the world, speak many languages and represent dozens of nationalities. We bring diverse educational backgrounds, work experience and perspectives to our roles.

At Bloomberg the focus is on building a career rather than climbing a ladder. There is very little hierarchy. Exceptional performers are recognized and rewarded regardless of experience or tenure. The opportunities are limitless for those who have the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and motivation to contribute to Bloomberg's success.
