We are looking to recruit talented graduates
who we can help fast track into management
through our two graduate schemes
General Management Scheme
Our General Management Scheme has been
developed for graduates from any academic
discipline and current graduates' qualifications
range from Microbiology, through Geography
to Management and Russian.
Technical Management Scheme
Our Technical Management Scheme attracts
graduates from a technical background
related to our industry such as Architectural
Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Land
and Planning, Architecture, Commercial
Management and Civil Engineering. You
should have formed a good understanding of
technical issues from your studies, but would
like to apply your skills in a managerial
capacity. We will assist in fast-tracking your
career development.
The Programme
You will receive personal, customised,
development which combines programmed
experience in all aspects of the business along
with formal management skills training. You
will work in all departments and then, with
our guidance, choose the most appropriate
department to launch your career.
Your progress will be monitored by
senior Directors and we will support you
in achieving professional and/or other
appropriate qualifications if so desired. You
will receive wide exposure to different career
directions and work with a wide cross section
of people as you move between business
units throughout the country. Outstanding
performers will have the opportunity for
a 1-month placement in Morrison Homes,
Taylor Wimpey's business in the USA.
Our requirements
Applications are invited from graduates with
a 2:1 degree backed up by a minimum of 300
UCAS points (formerly 24 UCAS points - 3
Grade B's or equivalent) and the personal
qualities, communication and people skills to
meet our demanding specification.
Training placements will be rotational
throughout the UK, so mobility and flexibility
are essential. You will also need your own car
to travel between locations. All applicants
must be eligible to work permanently in the
UK.
