With the launch of our highly successful 'for
the journey' brand, Lloyds TSB has reinforced
its status as one of the UK's most popular and
successful financial services organisations. A
new brand isn't all we've re-launched either.
Our Graduate Leadership Programme has
been fully revised to offer a new breed of
opportunities for ambitious and extremely
able individuals. With senior support and
a clearer focus on leadership potential, this
programme genuinely offers a shorter journey
to a senior management role.
With almost 80,000 employees, a presence in
20 countries, and a business portfolio which
includes pensions, investments, corporate
markets and insurance - as well as respected
brands including Scottish Widows and
Cheltenham & Gloucester - there's far more
to us than just our network of high-street
branches. We are without doubt, an extremely
good business. Our focus over the coming
years is on becoming a truly great business,
and on developing high calibre graduates for
senior management roles anywhere across
the Lloyds TSB group. These opportunities
could be within specific functions or general
management, and could involve leading
people or projects, driving performance or
shaping business strategy.
There are a choice of programmes - including
general management, finance, corporate
markets, HR and IT. Working closely with you
to ensure your development needs are met, the
2 year (3 years for finance) programme will
support the development of your technical
expertise, and enable you to practise and
build your leadership and management skills
on carefully selected business assignments.
Reflecting the importance - and potential -
of these placements, there are a relatively
small number of openings, each carrying a
high degree of expectation. You will have
access to a Senior Manager and a dedicated
Emerging Talent Manager, and will enjoy
your own totally unique career journey.
This will include formal training, one-onone
reviews and placements to build up
management skills and leadership qualities.
Where applicable, study towards professional
qualifications will form part of the mix. And
if all this isn't enough, you will have access
to our online Corporate University, one of the
largest of its kind in Europe.
Successful applicants will need a minimum
of 300 UCAS points (320 for our corporate
markets programme) and a 2:1, in any
discipline, together with all the qualities that
make for strong leaders: judgement, drive,
the ability to influence and successfully put
plans and ideas into action.
As well as exceptional development
opportunities, you can expect first-class
rewards and benefits.
