The Graduate Scheme has been designed to
give you the opportunity to acquire the skills,
knowledge and experience that will help
make you successful at Bovis Lend Lease.
Through our rotation system you will gain a
broad understanding of our entire business
through working in different disciplines,
roles, functions, departments, regions or
business units so that you can see how the
component parts fit together and to help you
decide what you will like to specialise in after
you have completed the Graduate Scheme.
The Graduate Scheme consists of four key
development areas:
Technical Skills; working closely with
your manager and mentor to ensure you
have the knowledge, skills and experience
to do your role to your best ability
Professional Development; we actively
encourage, support and fund your progress
towards accreditation and membership
of your relevant professional body; e.g.
RICS, ICE, CIOB
Personal Development; we provide
opportunities for you to develop skills that
will help you not only at work but in all
aspects of your life including interpersonal
skills, networking, studying a new language
and community work
Leadership Skills; whilst not everyone
wants to manage people or lead projects,
leadership skills are invaluable and critical
to your success regardless of whether you
go onto manage or to become a technical
specialist. Our Graduate Development
Programme takes place every year and it will
equip you with the key leadership skills you
will need including communication skills,
teamwork, goal setting and influencing
