The Kier graduate development programme
Kier Group has one of the best personal development programmes for graduates in the industry. Working on a variety of projects throughout the 4 year programme, graduates will gain valuable experience within their chosen discipline, enabling achievement to chartered status by providing the supervision and support necessary at every stage.
During the 4th year of the programme emphasis is given on developing managerial skills, with the potential to progress into a management positions, which is key to the development and growth of Kier, as many of our senior managers today started with us as graduates.
The Kier undergraduate programme
We also have a number of placements each year to undergraduates and college leavers, offering sponsorship through your degree, focusing on summer and industrial placement providing support, training and development centred around on the job experience.

Salaries and benefits
Kier offers a highly competitive starting salary. Salaries are reviewed every six months during your first three years of employment, and annually thereafter. Our excellent benefits package includes a pension scheme, life assurance, private health care, an employee share ownership scheme, a company car or car allowance and 26 days holiday.
Sponsorship scheme
We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated undergraduates within a construction discipline, who have either just began their degree, will be commencing over the next year as well as those who are looking for sponsorship part way through their course.
Graduate Programme
We welcome applications from those with a construction related degree accredited by CIOB, RICS, ICE. They must also have the right to live and work within the UK as well as a full UK driving licence.
