resource. Your work will involve listening to
and translating a variety of communications
in a particular language. Working with
intelligence officers, you'll use your own
understanding of the political and cultural
context to provide insight and assessment
to support investigations. Whether that
language is your mother tongue or you've
studied it formally, you must have an indepth
knowledge of its use in modern life. We recruit
for a variety of languages including Somali,
Kurdish central (Kurdi, Sorani), Pashto,
Arabic (particularly North African), Urdu
(with or without Gujarati), Punjabi, Bengali,
Persian and Farsi. Our website is regularly
updated with our language requirements.
Information Technology, Scientific and
Technical Roles: We depend on professional
and dedicated teams to support the Service's
technical requirements in a number of
disciplines. You'll be working in a fast-paced
environment, where you will enjoy a varied
and interesting career.
Additional Careers
We also recruit administrative assistants
and business support officers, data analysts
and mobile surveillance officers. Further
information about these roles is available
