Who we are
Hewitt Associates is a specialist business
consultancy that work with many of the
largest companies in the world, and many
smaller ones too, on a full range of human
resource and pension fund issues. Our UK
offices provide advice to half of the FTSE 100
companies, and hundreds of other businesses
too.
Since the beginning more than 75 years ago,
mathematical modelling, practical problem
solving, understanding businesses and people,
and simplifying the complex are the key skills
our people bring to our clients.
Our People
We believe that the success of our business
is simply the combination of the skills,
knowledge and attitude of our people. Our
philosophy is to employ people with the right
skills and attitude; support them to become
as good as they possibly can be; and enable
them to find roles to best use their individual
strengths and interests to help our clients.
Training
We will support your development through on
the job coaching and mentoring, sponsorship
of relevant professional qualifications (we
have one of the best professional study
packages in the business), and a structured
internal training programme.
We offer generous financial support and study
leave for both Actuarial examinations and the
Chartered Financial Analyst qualification
(CFA). As your technical knowledge develops
you can expect an increasing responsibility
for delivering work. There will also be
opportunities for you to contribute to the
intellectual capital of our business through
specialist research and for you to manage the
development of others in your team.
What we look for
We are looking for highly motivated
consultant trainees who want to be part of
our successful business. You will have a
strong academic background, with excellent
communication skills and a desire to push
yourself and be challenged in everything you
do. You will thrive on deadlines and want to
play a key part in shaping the future for our
business.
