The Opportunity
Gallaher are seeking talented and energetic
graduates with the potential to develop
excellent general management skills. An 18
month training programme will develop these
skills starting with 3 months intensive sales
training followed by a variety of secondments
which will provide first hand experience of
a number of management roles including
Sales & Marketing responsibilities. As a
graduate trainee in Gallaher you will have
responsibility and accountability from the
start of your training period and you will
be required to deliver against set objectives.
Gallaher has a mentor scheme which matches
you with someone who doesn't work with
you but acts as a sounding board and advisor
in your early months. The mentors are often
in senior positions which help with your
development and provide inspiration when
you're in the early stages of your career.
At the end of the training period, successful
graduate trainees will be appointed to their
first management position which is most
likely to be within Sales Management but
could also be within the Marketing function.
