You may never have heard of us, but MBDA is a world leading, global missile systems company, delivering cutting-edge technologies to our multinational customer base. It operates in all of the major world markets and is the only company able to design and produce missiles and missile systems for army, navy and air forces.
MBDA has around 11,000 employees based across the UK, France, Italy, Germany and the USA. In the UK, research and development is carried out at Stevenage, Hertfordshire, while software and systems engineering takes place in Filton, Bristol, and production in Lostock, Lancashire. Our growing reputation for innovation and technical excellence owes much to our engineering facilities, rated amongst the most modern in the world.
Our two-year graduate programme is designed for individuals who have completed or are just about to complete their degree, achieved a 2:1 or higher in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems, aerospace, software, aeronautical), Maths, Physics or similar and who have a minimum 240 UCAS points*.
We look for graduates with ambition and drive, who are capable of delivering and working as part of a large team whilst equally becoming specialists in their own field and able to work independently.
We are committed to providing continuing professional development through accredited training, set out by professional institutes, such as IMechE, IET, Institute of Physics, and the Royal Aeronautical Society, as well as a series of development events for all new graduates who join us.
Throughout the duration of your programme a trained Mentor will offer support and provide information about MBDA, helping you build your skills and plan your career development for the future. Together with significant on-the-job training you will also undertake a range of personal development activities promoting teamwork, communication, presentation and leadership skills.
