on developing your Human, Business and
Professional competencies - the three areas

Human – your role will provide a variety of
'soft skills' training in areas where you will
need expertise - including presentation,
influencing, negotiation and innovation.
Business – whilst you should strive to be an
expert in your area, it is essential to be aware
of the 'bigger picture'. As such, you will be
given an insight into the telecommunications
market and receive briefings from the people
who drive the strategy of Ericsson forward.
Professional – whatever the area you join, a
training path will be designed to ensure you
gain expertise in the relevant areas. This will
be done in conjunction with your manager
and your broader development plan. You will
be provided with a number of formal courses,
complimented by on the job training to
consolidate your learning. Furthermore,
should you develop an interest in a particular
field, Ericsson will do its best to
accommodate your development in this
direction, in accordance with the needs of the
business at any given time.
