From roads and railways, water and waste, to schools and other essential infrastructure, the evidence of our work is everywhere. Right now, we have over 11,000 talented people here – and we're poised to rapidly expand our operations over the next few years, underpinned by a strong order book. So for those with real ambition and drive, there's never been a better time to join us.

ABOUT US
Mouchel is a firm of breathtaking scope. We work with government agencies, local authorities and the private sector to provide safe, reliable roads and railways, well-managed education and civic infrastructure, clean water and cost-effective energy. It's a diverse remit – and one that's reflected in our business. We have some of the most highly skilled teams in the world, spanning a wide range of disciplines.

Some of our projects can be very high-profile. We've recently worked on the first carbon-fibre public bridge in Western Europe, helped London Underground to improve their infrastructure, and carried out important upgrade work for several of the UK's largest water companies. We're also behind more unusual ventures, too – such as tackling crime and antisocial behaviour in Hackney and developing a permanent site for travellers in Liverpool.

OUR PROGRAMME
Our graduates train through the Mouchel Academy, a structured development programme that has been designed to give you the tools to succeed. Alongside the formal technical training you receive on the job, the Programme will provide you with the skills and career support needed to flourish in our client-driven environment.

The programme itself lasts 18 months, during which time we will kickstart your professional development with a relevant professional body. You'll also receive help and guidance on planning your future within the business. Most graduates after the programme go on to study for a chartership within their chosen specialism.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our engineering graduates take around four years to become accredited, but they then undertake a range of roles: from hands-on technical positions to those that focus more on project management. In the case of the latter, you'll use your technical knowledge to liaise with both clients and contractors and ensure each project gets delivered.

Non-engineering graduates take on roles within management consultancy, project management or business support. These roles are ideal for those who are more commercially-minded and who want to focus on the bigger picture.

REWARDS & BENEFITS
We offer our graduates a highly competitive starting salary with an outstanding range of benefits, including a company pension, private healthcare, and 24 days' holiday per year. You can also buy up to 5 extra days' holiday through our flexible benefits scheme.
