You will be awarded a priority seat when you
start you training contract and will undertake
a compulsory seat in either banking or

Free To A Good Home again. I've found a work experience scheme for print journalism, but it's in Dublin. Travelling and living abroad relies on huge reserves of excitement and a thirst for adventure. But mine was quenched in Paris last autumn. What I really want is to get some good work experience in the UK. But no-one wants me!!

I arrive early .... .... we should
all be in training for it this year – the promise
of a night out if we do well is incentive
enough!
5.00pm
Further work on the listing. The deadline for
sending out several of the agreements is close
of business today – so I need to check they
are all complete before attaching them to an
email and sending them out. Once I’ve
finished I go through my work list to make
sure I have done everything I need to today –
with lots on at the same time its important to
make sure that nothing gets overlooked.
6.30pm
Head downstairs to the bar at the bottom of
the Simmons & Simmons building. It’s very
close so it’s become the local for most people
in the firm. It’s a good chance to see a few
people I haven’t seen for a while that are in
other departments.
