I am heavily involved in the Science and
Engineering Ambassadors Scheme (SEAS)

in the local community and get students

You can really experience a lot of different
aspects and also the Met is a very flexible
employer. You’ve got flexible hours you can

One thing I’ve learnt from the Police service
is a respect for diversity. Every day, directly
or indirectly, I’m engaging with people from
every faith and race; I’m interacting with
communities with a thousand different
interests, agendas and concerns; and I’m
learning something about someone, or
