Jack Beresford

Jack Beresford is a marketing and events management intern currently working in the Careers and Employability Division of the University of Manchester's Careers Service. Throughout University he worked in various roles for the Careers and Employability Division and developed a knowledge and understanding not only of what the division did, but graduate recruitment as a whole. During this time he enjoyed a variety of work based experience, from voluntary writing for an entertainments magazine and runner work on the set of BBC programme's like 'Casualty" to formal copy writing work for both home owner and medical information websites. Jack took an active interest in campus life organising freshers week events and University based music festivals as well as taking an active role in the promotion of student elections. This work demonstrates his variety of interests. However his main focus within his work and writing is graduate recruitment and the various pitfalls and advice available for students graduating.
