My interview at Salford went very well. The interviewer spent most of the time enlightening us with amusing anecdotes from his reporting days. And I learned that “group interview” actually does mean being interviewed in front of a group. Sounds scary, but it was an interesting way of seeing what stage other people are at… (as well as trying to get on the Masters, obviously).
My contributions to the ever so wonderful Current.com (what? there’s no shameless plugging going on here) are progressing along nicely. However, today I had my guard up as a lot of the stories were April Fools and making serious comments on a story about a hotel onboard a helicopter is never a professional move.
